Meet the Ayola Research Group

The origin of the Ayola Research Group goes back to 1995 when Dr. Richard W. Stimets hired his first research assistants to develop a new constructed language. Since then, the ARG has been the home of many people from various cultural and linguistic backgrounds such as Haitian, Indian, Dominican, American, Albanian, etc. Their background in languages along with their interest brought them together to work towards creating Ayola.

Currently, the Ayola Research Group is comprised of Dr. Richard W. Stimets and a small group of student researchers led by him. They are working together on the new Ayola-English and English-Ayola dictionary as well as the final improvements of the language. View the slide show for a peek at the ARG working on the dictionary.
