Each sound is represented by one symbol in Aiola. Symbols can composed of either one or two letters. Click on each symbol to hear its sound. Aiola has five vowels: a, e, i, o, u. All the other symbols represent consonants of the language. Four consonant sounds are represented in written speech with diagraphs (two-letter symbol).
